I have inherited a large collection of diamond disc's. It came with a London Upright player which I am keeping as well as a handful of records that were in the machine that were granddad's favorites. The other 1000+ records must go. I am planning on selling on ebay as it is all I know but I thought I would put a post up here and if any collectors are looking for a particular record or records we could make a deal here. I do have a complete list and for sure some rare ones that I will part with. John

is this a "for sale" ad? there's really no information on what's being sold, no prices, not even any contact information. what's the point?

I'm interested in "Persian Rug" by the McAlpineers, if you have it. That's the only Edison disc I'm looking for at the moment. PM me with a price if you've got it.

usually when we courteously offer things for sale here, we provide some basic information, like what we're selling, where it's generally located and some contact information. that's all.

I'm interested In Camp Songs vol 2-? Also any other WWI/patriotic discs. Christmas tunes and spirituals as well. Thanks.

Do you know what the numbers might be? Im not too familiar yet with any titles but i have everything in numerical order

Obviously you believe that everyone on here has a "list" of records they might be interested in... It would be better to provide some info as to what titles you have for sale, what you are asking and where you are located. I, like many others on here, have thousands of records already and you might spark my interest by listing some titles you have for sale... otherwise I could PM you thousands of times to see if you "might" have a title I am interested in out of the millions of records that were produced. Brian U has a point... if you are asking $1.00 per record or $50.00 per record it makes a difference as to whether anyone is even interested in PMing you about them in the first place. Also, since they weigh a ton, it would be nice to know if it is even feasible to get them delivered or whether local pickup is necessary... just sayin'...

Also, titles and artists are more important than reference numbers to generate interest...
