This machine is down the road, first time I've seen on of these machines. Looks like may be worth a trip.

An unusual machine to find outside the UK, the Clumberphone was assembled from bought in components and probably took it's name from Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire.

Clumber Park was home to the Dukes of Newcastle for over 300 years and was once part of Sherwood Forest, made famous by the legendary Robin Hood.

The house was demolished in 1938 and the park was acquired by the National Trust in 1946. I remember many childhood picnics there in the 1950's.

What a musical sounding name. I bet they were sued into oblivion by Victor for their clearly knock-off cabinet design.
