I salvaged a large Meisselbach 4 spring motor from an old shed. It was pretty much rusted solid, but after rebuilding the governor and cleaning the gunk from the gears, it runs great! Never seen this motor before. Watch it running on YouTube at:

Still pretty dirty, just wanted to see if it would run, and it does!

I read an article in "The Talking Machine World" trade paper that the Meisselbach motor was a Heineman product.

It looks like it could power a small ship.
