Currently on ebay is an odd item described as an antique Victrola multiple size phonograph needle case. It does not look like a phonograph product to me, but what is it? Any ideas?

It's not. It's for sewing machine needles. Just another uninformed Ebay seller.... .

*Edit* Apparently it's for piano pins... . Still not a Phonograph related item.. .

I figured someone here would know. Thanks!

I have one of these and someone on the forum said it had something to do with piano tuning.

Make a damned good needle case though. Spear point, tungs tone, soft, medium and loud. Bamboo etc.
