With lack of details and 2 photos that detail a Bose unit more than the phonograph, and a 1 feedback rating, whats your take?

Looks like a regular old drugstore Columbia with an oak case.

It's a Columbia client machine. I really can't tell by the pictures what model it is. If the machine is local, I would be all over it. This is a machine that I would like to see in person, pay cash, and pickup.

Shipping is only $4.54! That's a great deal! CliffPhonofreak wrote:It's a Columbia client machine. I really can't tell by the pictures what model it is. If the machine is local, I would be all over it. This is a machine that I would like to see in person, pay cash, and pickup.

Depends on the reserve. I'd bid on it at that price, but "Great Fidelity"??

Based upon a cursory visual. I'd say it's a genuine BN. Horn, tone arm, reproducer, speed control/shut off seem correct. I don't imagine it'll fetch more than $750 if at all. Certainly I'd ask for more pics. But the ad simply reveals the seller's ignorance, rather than what they may be trying to hide.

Sadly, the description and photos are not the only things that are vague. Perhaps he simply doesn't care.

Here is the answer I got this morning from the seller so beware: It is a Victrola. It does not have a decal. I play it often, its in excellent working condition.
OK, so no decal?? Refinished? A Victrola?
