The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

I believe this is a version of a "Talking Book" for blind people. There is a very similar one on YouTube. The ID tag is gone, or I would know for sure! Everything turns on fine, there is a hum from the speaker, and the cartridge is dead (going to send it to West Tech). Has an Audak tonearm, 3 tubes, and one capacitor. Heavy little thing too! Also came with the original keys.

Plays 33 shellac discs and 78's. Finally, I have a portable electrola!

Any info would be great!
