A call out to the membership.

I'm helping a lady with her Vic.III motor that is missing two governor weights and springs (replaced with something else). Also, three of the little washers.

This is a family machine and she would like to have it running properly. Once the weights are put in....it will be good to go.

I thought I had some of these....however, I can't find them if I do.

Can anyone help her with these please.??. Here is the pic of the one remaining (see attached). Please PM me if you can help.

Thanks to all.

My tabletop VV-X (similar motor) was missing some weights and springs too. Ron Sitko has the correct replacements. I would advise to replace all 3 weights and springs to have it running smoothly.

Thanks for the tip. However, she would like to have original weights. Maybe someone has three matching ones with springs...??.
Appreciate any help for her.

Ron Sitko is the man. I have replaced springs, weights, and washers and they are right on. To find original matching weights and springs are next to impossible to find. Each one is unique to the wear and tear from whatever machine they came from. You'll have to convince her that to get the machine running properly, is to replace all of the weights and springs. Then put the original weights and springs in a little baggie for historical purposes. Other than that, the machine will never run right.
