I have been trying to complete a set of Columbia / Harper Bubble Books for some time now - and trying only to get near mint books which is tough because they were owned by and played with by young children. (I am only missing the last two) I just purchased this advertising pamphlet off of EBay but to my surprise it has the Victor and Nipper logo on the cover of the pamphlet. I guess Columbia allowed Victor to also make these great "Little Wonder" children's Bubble Books?

Here's the relevant passage from Tim Brooks & Merle Sprinzen's "Little Wonder Records and Bubble Books" (Mainspring Press, 2011):
"Columbia itself was in deep financial trouble in the early 1920s, and in 1924 the Victor Talking Machine Company purchased the exclusive right to publish the Bubble Books from Ralph Mayhew. ... According to company files all of the Victor Bubble Book records were recorded acoustically between May and July, 1924. ... the Victor line appears to have been discontinued in 1928.
"Columbia then reclaimed the Bubble Book franchise..."
