Show Your Needle Dispensers

Through the years I've seen many neat and unusual containers for dispensing needles. In the earlier years before they became built into the cabinet, they were an extra accessory. The first example here fits that category. It has a compartment for one type of needle and a compartment for discarded needles. (Some of them resemble pill dispensers, and perhaps some could serve as either). Later, they would be used to access additional and alternate types of needles. The second example here fits that category. It has two compartments for different needles and a discard needle compartment. Please show us which ones you have.

The Victor box was provided with their early portables such as the VV50 which had no needle holder. There was also a box to hold three types of needles.

Here's a little needle dispenser which looks suspiciously like one in a Hawthorne & Sheble catalog. Siegel-Cooper sold this one.

I've run across a couple of these little wooden dispensers with sliding lids and finger-joined corners. I know nothing about them.

Finally, here's a seldom-seen Hawthorne & Sheble "Compartment Needle Box" as advertised in The Talking Machine World in August 1906.

Interesting boxes, thanks for sharing. On the Siegel Cooper box, would that have had a lid on the right compartment? The little recess around it looks that way.

Thanks again.

Retro, Love your home made needle caddy. I think I'll try my skills at making one!

Meanwhile, here is another one from the collection.
