Hi, and greetings from New Zealand. This dates from the late 20's early 30's I need to source replacements for this, as it still works great! Can some one point me in the right direction? I am coming to Union this year. Many thanks Mark Dawson New Zealand.

Is there some kind of code number or other identifying information somewhere on the tube? Seems to me I've seen something here that resembles that tube. What voltage/cycles do you use in NZ? What's the tube length and diameter (inches preferred!)? It's single-pin, no? Do you know the wattage?

This sign, which is post-war, uses an F8T5cw fluorescent lamp.

Mark,
If your sign does indeed take a F8T5cw bulb as Uncle Vanya says, they are found in many hardware stores up here (~US$10 ea., cheaper by the dozen).
I, too, plan to attend Union this year and I could bring one along if you want to do it that way. Otherwise, as Henry said, they are available (much cheaper) on-line [if shipping is tolerable].
See you soon! -Michael
