Hi TMF folks-

I'd like to contact the person who posted this video on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJXDtrq4McY

I'm hoping he/she might be willing to add a musician credit to its description for the guitarist (Sean Condron), since it's been getting a lot of views, continuing for several years now.

Does anyone know who this videographer is? Email address?

It's posted to a YouTube channel named "phonophan": https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCh8Jn8 ... q_lkriUryQ

Thanks,
Jerry Fabris, Museum Curator

It sounds like the guitarist gives himself credit, in the announcement before he begins to play.

It's interesting that the demonstrator makes it a point to explain that the brown "wax" cylinder is not wax at all, but a "metallic soap" like material. I wonder if that caused the creation of the term "a clean recording"?!

I know the name of the guitarist, it's Sean Condron. I'm asking if anyone knows the identity of "phonophan", the video uploader : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCh8Jn8 ... q_lkriUryQ

Well Jerry, a search on this forum under "Members" turned up phonophan79. You might try contacting them to see if that is the one.

Go to the link above, click the "Send Message" button and ask him to contact you. Perhaps you already tried that? However, Phonophan's last video upload was a year ago, and it is possible his email address has changed since then.
