This is on Craigslist in Asheville. Does this machine look right?
They are wanting $1250 for it. I have never known much about Columbia machines and am not interested in this one.
Just curious about it.

It's hard to tell by the small picture. The arms look funky and phony. The asking price for a complete, correct, and an early off-center crank model would be worth it. Stay away from this.

Those are the correct pattern arms for the early machine. It appears that the pattern has been highlighted with black paint. They are doubtless reproductions, and the support arm is too short for this machine, it is correct for another model. The correct support arm may be had in an accurate reproduction, but Mr. Kraits is correct; at $1250 this machine (which by the way also appears to have been re-finished and re-decalled) is too expensive for what it is in the current market.

Pity for these are awfully attractive machines which will play rings around a Victor Monarch.

Those short arms is what I thought looked funny. Like I said, the picture is very small to see all of the details. Look at the thread that George Paul started, and you will see a correct off-center crank AH. Stay away from this one
