Hello all!

Anyone have any ideas what this machine might be?
Is it real? If so, what country did it made? (France, Germany, Austria, Italy, England ...) When was it made, for export?

Yes it's "real " Pathé I guess but I can't read what it says on the front , can you putt a larger picture up , Does the coin slot work ?

Looks to me like an Opera. Opera was a French manufactured machine.

On the front of the machine, it is marked "Opera".

Quite honestly, I do not think this is a Pathé gramophone, although there is some resemblance to a Pathéphone 4.

The big horn is 66 cm in diameter, while Pathé hornd standards are 40, 50 and 60 centimeters.

The coin slot is blocked for now. It will take a lot of restoration and reconstruction, some metal parts in xamac are now "turn to dust".

I have no idea, it miss the arm and the read head, and a plan, or a photo of this "no Pathé" gramophone

I have a number of Opera discs, all vertical cut (hill and dale). The gramophone is an Opera coin-op, not a Pathé: you will need to find an Opera arm and reproducer to properly restore it. Not extremely rare, but not as easy to find as Pathé reproducers.

Do you have photos or pics / drawings representing a gramophone Opera like mine? To see what looks like an "Opera arm and reproducer to restore it"-

Unfortunately I do not have photos of similar Opera gramophones nor I am familiar with the model variations. I know that their factory was in Paris- Plaisance. The ones I am more familiar with are table tops like the one for sale in this link http://www.leboncoin.fr/collection/891875333.htm. Evidently the arm will not fit yours, but the reproducer could be common to your model - it is only my guess, though. The type for sale in the link is relatively common, but the external horn type is much rarer.
