Visit to Myanmar

Hello All,
Just returned from a holiday in Myanmar. Fantastic country.
Not much in the way of gramophones but I did find this metal calendar with an image of a gramophone and a battered old box of 78's from the 50's. Nothing of interest and all totally unplayable and ridiculously expensive.. I turned the box over and on it's spine was the EMG logo. I nearly dropped the box and all the records. Took for ever to persuade the seller to sell me the box without the records. I'll post pics once it arrives.

Years ago I found this 7" G&T made during Gaisberg's second Asian recording trip in 1903.

Your very welcome. I used my Victrola XVII. The machine has a light attachment on the tone arm.

My apologizes, I didn't see your follow up question. These light attachments are battery powered. The battery is stored under the motorboard out of sight. Putting a light on the situation helps when in a dark area.. ;).
