A friend of mine is visiting California, and saw this widget at an antique show...

Any idea who made it, what it fits, and what the other side of the thing looks like ?

That is the base for a Fletcher Tone Arm. The movable weight is a counterbalance.

Ahhh... Thank you !

The hexagonal design should have been a clue. :)

So what does the whole thing look like ? Is the reproducer head multi-diaphragm, or swivel and multi-stylus, like a Pathé` or Silvertone ?

It uses a continuation of the hexagonal tone arm, with the Usual swivel, a la Heinemann, and the interesting Fletcher reproducer.

I have one or two of these arms in my junk box at home in Michigan, or Virginia, or in the UP! I cannot recall where!
