Orthophonic Reproducer Diaphragm Replacement?

I have an orthophonic brass reproducer that needs a new diaphragm. I see reproduction diaphragms on eBay but not sure about how these will perform. Do anyone have experience using these reproduction diaphragms? Does anyone have a video or instructions on removing the spider from the original diaphragm and then how to attach it to the new diaphragm? Thanks for your help.
Regards, Ed

Here's a link to MicaMonster's rebuild instructions. You might find it helpful!

I too would be interested in hearings about people's experiences with the replacement diaphragms... some of my Orthos have small radial cracks near the edge of the diaphragm, and a few are horribly mangled.

Ok, I don't even own a Victor Orthophonic sound box, but that was a very interesting article to read.

Very informative and well written!
