Your reproducer has an after market attachment that decreases the volume. By turning the thumbscrew, there is a metal plate that partially occludes the air column going out to the elbow and horn. The reproducer face is covered to prevent sound escape. This was patented by Eugene Robinson and often goes for nearly what you paid for the machine.

Other than the reproducer, I don't see any difference from my Vic III. The moulding on the base and a few other minor external changes can be observed through the production years, but your looks like a typical III. Nice find and great price!

The accessory for the Exhibition is cool. The photos show a Victor III. What were you specifically worried about? Jerry

This is a great accessory and works very well. I have one on my Victor MS. Great score for you.
