1930 Edison R-6 radio with phono jacks. Professionally Rebuilt and working!

This is the last item sold by the entertainment wing of the Edison Co. It comes with specially made cables that go in the phono jacks so you can play music from you Ipod, CD player, or other digital device as shown in the video below. I've dropped the price from $500 to just $375. I can deliver for free to the APS show in Buena Park in August. Or I can ship it to Union for about $400 shipping cost. Marc.

That sure is a nice radio. If it was closer and I had the funds (not much), I would definitely buy it.

Someone needs to grab this up!

Yes, I love it. The only reason I'm selling it is I actually have two of them. Yes, rare as it is, I have two R-6's, plus a beautiful restored R-7, which is also a rare 1930 Edison product from the last year of business. It seems phonograph collectors tend to be highly resistant to radios even with Edison's name on them.

BTW, APS is the Antique Phonograph Society. They always hold their show during the second weekend in August in Buena Park, CA near Knott's Berry Farm. I like to call it "Union West". I think in some ways it surpasses Union. Since Kurt Nauck and a few other record dealers pulled out of Union, I think the APS show has the better selection of records.
