Here we have an original Edison Phonograph Works (EPW) took check. Checks such as this one would be attached to tools used at the Edison Phonograph Works to produce phonographs. Tools would be checked out to an employee and then expected to be returned to the tool room, all tracked by the tool check. This check was used on some tool at the Edison Phonograph Works.
Its in great condition and makes for a cool display and conversation piece.
