Black celluloid cylinder question

I just obtained a black celluloid cylinder that somewhat resembles a Lambert, except it has a hand etched title in the blank space above the grooves. It's titled "Ragtime Dance" and is marked ECR 5015-b (.5) Does anyone know what this is? Thanks for any help...

This is purely a guess but it may stand for Ebonoid Celluloid Record or Ebonoid Cylinder Record, as were discussed previously on the Forum here: http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... f=2&t=4149

I have this cylinder.

It is not celluloid, but vinyl, produced by APSCO as a "New Century" record (sort of a successor to their "Electrophone Cylinder Records" label).

Any cylinder with E.C.R is Electrophone Cylinder Record, if it has P.N.D. on it, it is one Peter Dilg recorded.
