Can GoJo be used to clean the Chinese furniture that is Black Lacquered with the Mother of Pearl inlays.
Sorry this isn't phonograph related.
I'm sure somebody on this forum has had to clean some Chinese style cabinet.
Thanks in advance.

A similar product called NEW LIFE FURNITURE MASQUE, meant for furniture, will do it. Google it.

I believe GoJo is mild but effective. I would try it on a painted machine but try an inconspicuous location first. Jerry Blais

I have a chinoiserie painted and relief moulded cabinet gramophone, but without mother of pearl inlay. It was very dirty when acquired, probably the result of decades in a smoky atmosphere.
Being anxious not to damage the hand painted decoration I cleaned it with baby wipes which are very mild but time consuming, as several applications were needed. I avoided harsh cleaners and solvents because I had no idea what chemicals were contained in the original finish applied some 90 years ago.

As GoJo is, first and foremost, a hand cleaner, I doubt that there would be any harsh chemicals included.

Try an inconspicuous spot, and work gently.
