I've seen quite a few Edisonics for sale lately. Here's another Schubert for sale in North New Jersey -- http://newjersey.en.craigslist.org/clt/1228068638.html

BTW, I see that Viva Tonal model is still for sale -- http://allentown.craigslist.org/clt/1251374575.html

I also spotted this Credenza for $450, but the case seems a little light -- http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/hsh/1274735469.html

I think that Credenza spent too much time in the sunlight- or very possibly was left out on in the weather. Looks as if the finish is shot and the wood bleached out.

The credenza looks like a batched semi refinish job to me, thats probably why the darkened areas around the main trim parts. What the heck edison is that for 50.00 in Iowa, don't recognize the grill?

I believe it's a Model H-19 "Hepplewhite" with fleur-de-lis grille, as opposed to an H-19 with a "shield" grill.

There's an example on this page.

Did anyone notice that the reproducer is not included for your $1000. Got to wonder about some people.....

Thanks to the Internet we now know that Edisonics aren't quite as rare as they used to be.

Yeah... that's my Edisonic, obviously I didn't post it here to be self-promoting... and the $1000 mostly to keep away the craigslist lowballers, altho I did keep the OBO in there... and taking into consideration I spent a good chunk of change restoring this Edisonic from destruction. And so what, even if you spent $300 on an Edisonic reproducer I don't think $1300 is some unimaginable rip-off price for a completely restored Edisonic machine.

Is that the Edisonic that turned up on Craigslist last year, with the bad veneer on the side, if it is you HAVE put a lot of excellent work into it.

My remark on rarity was just generalizing. When I was starting out collecting in the 1970's I bought an Excelda from Art Sanders for what was an enormous sum back then and would still be pretty stiff today. They just seemed rarer back then.
