If someone is desperate for the part, and has access to a good metal man, or band instrument repair person, this could be saved.


I don't know how "rare" these really are; if they are common, then perhaps not worth the effort.

Definitely fixable and not even all that hard a job, but the gold plate will suffer

The seller claims the junk tone arm was used on a Victor VI. Ask the seller which side of the tone arm has mark from the Exhibition. If the little mark is on the open side of the tone arm, it was used on a horn machine. If you find the mark with the open end down, it was used on a Victrola. Of course the same tone arm was used on the Victor VI as well as many early Victrolas.
