I now have the two popular recordings by Rachmaninoff on Edison DD 82169 & 82170 (one is noiser than the other, probably due to the war era). What I am wondering is, were these recordings also released on Edison Blue Amberol?

Edison released 10 sides by Rachmaninoff on 5 Diamond Discs. All were recorded in April 1919 and none were released on Blue Amberol. Three takes of each of the ten sides were released.
Rachmaninoff was not pleased with Edison - reportedly having to do with Edison releasing takes that Rachmaninoff did not approve of - and never recorded for him again.

An employee remembered Edison referring to the great Rachmaninoff as a "pounder"!Edison DID like Ernest L.Stevens piano playing, and those were put on Blue Amberol.edisonplayer
