Will bring to Union if Pre-Sold:
As found, Columbia AT Graphophone.
Case finish looks dry but has decent decal.
Upper works spin freely, but the reproducer carriage sleeve is swelled and frozen.
Motor runs well, just needs to be cleaned up.
One of the decorative corner columns is missing.
Base of the cabinet needs to be re-glued, (see picture).
(no reproducer or crank)
Great for parts or restoration.
Price SOLD - $100
Please P.M. or Email
Thanks, Bob S.

This maybe off topic, but I have a question about your AT. I have an early AT like yours that was retrofitted with the high trunion. Does your lid fit right over the bottom and the mechanism? When I got my machine years ago, it was missing a lid. I found one but it doesn't fit over the mechanism all the way. Did Columbia modify the lid or make a whole new one to fit on this type of AT? I heard that extra wood trim was added to the bottom of the stock lid to fit the modification. I don't know if that is true or not.

Harvey: Does your lid fit right over the bottom and the mechanism?
This is the first AT I have ever owned, so I don't know much about them.
But Yes, the lid fits over the trunion and closes, no problem.

Hi Bob, could you be so kind to post a picture of the bottom of your lid? That way I can compare it to mine.

I do not know whether it is due to distortion from the camera or not, but the lid in the photo does look rather taller than the lid on my first style AT.

Thanks for the pictures. That will help me with my early AT.
