A good friend and occasional contributor to this forum has lent me this very rare catalogue to share with you. The page size is 7x5 inches, and it unfolds to a total width of 20 inches. This is the only example I have ever seen.

Whoops! The pictures were rotated correctly in my photo gallery, so what went wrong?

I don't know why they're rotated, but when you click on them they open up correctly, at least with my computer.
These are wonderful scans! Thanks for posting them! Imagine being able to order an Expert Senior delivered in two weeks for 30 pounds!

I have images of this catalogue but it's wonderful to see here, many thanks for posting Roger.
This is a particularly interesting one for me because my Junior is exactly as pictured - straight sides - and complete with that identical cabinet.

Thanks for sharing. I have never heard a Ginn. Were they superior to Orthophonic sound?

The advantages of the EMG/Expert horns are that they are not a compromise, i.e. folded, and that they project the sound from a greater height. I have heard the HMV Re-Entrant machines described as "playing to the carpet". There is also nothing to touch a well maintained EMG/Expert soundbox.
The disadvantages are that these large horns are not pretty to look at, and that they dominate the smaller rooms of most UK homes. Wives tend to dislike them.
