I love this selection. I can still remember the day a friend sent me a copy since he had a duplicate. I was struck by the wonderful way he changes the tone of the music, something I think I haven't heard on other Edisons before him.. I got a reply on my original version from Marc and it prompted me to go ahead and try to get a more realistic recording of the record using the new camera. . Its very loud and my copy is showing wear in the grooves but once I got it back up and listened to it I find its pretty acceptable. Of course if I find a better copy I will happily replace this one.

Also I have a few True Tone diaphragms which I have created which are a bit thicker than the first batches which I find is quite suitable for use in the Standard or Edisonic Heads. I will put them on ebay shortly.

Great recording! Thanks for posting. I play my A250 daily and I'm very grateful to have the True Tone diaphragm playing loud and clear.

I guess I'm a little lucky. At our local GSPS meeting that we have every April at Ron Dethlefson's house, all of a sudden I saw another member going through Ron's DD collection, which is mostly NOS dealer stock. So I dove in too and got some great records, including this one in NOS condition. When I put it on my Schubert, I was shocked because the sound rivaled the best of the electric DD's. And it's one of the hottest records on DD. It's too bad that Dave Harman only made three DD's for Edison all released in 1925. He had a very hot jazz band!
