The rim seems to read ELECTRIP-EDIPHONE - can it be a demonstration piece?

Did you read the seller's description? It is a recording of Edison himself, promoting the Ediphone (dictaphone). Although it looks like a regular Blue Amberol, it may be cut at 150 tpi to play on a dictaphone machine instead of a consumer model phonograph. I heard of them decades ago but have never seen or heard one. I figure they are rare, certainly more so than "Let Us Not Forget" or "Christmas Greetings From The Bunch At Orange".

In 1917, a rare Blue Amberol cylinder of Thomas Edison introducing the new Electrip Ediphone was issued to dealers. According to the record itself, this was the very first cylinder recording of Thomas Edison’s own voice to ever leave the West Orange, N.J. factory. Edison discusses his new Electrip Ediphone and how it will improve business transcription efficiency. He looks forward to many years of satisfied customers.
After Edison provides the introduction, Nelson Durand, president of the Ediphone Division begins his speech with a tribute to Edison and thanks him for his contribution to the birth of recorded sound. This cylinder record is a 4 minute Blue Amberol and was found with its matching lid This record was issued two years before Edison’s only commercial recording to the public entitled “Let Us Not Forget,” released and dedicated in 1919 to honor the heroic allies of World War I.
There are a couple of threads with some information on this cylinder.
