The diaphragm is made of fiberglass resin impregnated rice paper. With a polystyrene stiffener. It is identical to the diaphragm I've made for standard Edison Disc reproducers, except the dimensions, including the stiffener, have been changed to accommodate the Vic #2 sound box. It's an idea I've been toying around with for a while, while developing a replacement diaphragm for Edison DD phonographs.emgcr wrote:Excellent sound---well done.
