Will be difficult to locate original motor board and motor, and then remain economically within what the unit complete is valued at. Not to mention, hard to imagine how badly they have butchered beneath the lid in order to accommodate what they have done so tirelessly to destroy this piece.
If you could acquire this for $100 tops, it may be worth it just to keep it around in the event that you can utilize it in some way or another.

The cabinet seems nice from the outside and is salvageable... the interior is another question entirely. If you happen to have the correct motor, turntable, tonearm and all of the rest of the original parts, you "could" restore it... Otherwise, if you want a nice looking cabinet with a later model turntable, you could make that happen... So, it depends on what you want to do, how many of the parts you have or how much money you want to spend searching for them... In the condition it's in, I personally wouldn't pay $250 for it. I could see using this as a cabinet for my Stanton turntable IF the price was right - $100-150. Someone may have a better option or idea for this...

Good points.. I'm no where near this machine, but thought it might be worth posting in the event that someone in the area might be able to save it.

...or you could turn it into a liquor cabinet...
