I recently found a record store that sells 78s, DDs, as well as some cylinders. All were reasonably priced. Has anyone else found any places that stock the older formats?

That would be great. There is one in my area, but it really only goes back to vinyl. For 78s it's thrift stores and Craig's List.

For 78s, a few reliable places I've been recently:
Antone's Record Shop in Austin TX
Underground Sounds in Louisville KY
Amoeba in LA and SF
The Place in Keyport NJ (more of an antique store, but a large stock of priced 78s)

Nothing in Northwest Indiana, mostly 1950s 78's at antique stores with a crack in it.
I buy all of mine on the forum or ebay. I steer away from 78's most of the time on ebay due to poor packing by many sellers. I mostly buy Edison Diamond Discs and Blue Amberols.
I am wondering if there is any good place in Chicago?

A few years back I visited a record shop in Chicago with lots of 78s. It was near a jazz club called Andy's

A guy on the street here in Philly recently recommended that I stop there, and I meant to a few months ago on my way through, but I really wanted to make Kentucky by nightfall. He still has a Web presence, so seems positive.
