What machine is this ?

Hello,
I know that machine manufactured in France - according to the sticker inside.
On the soundbox (reproducer) there are two words "POLYDOR ALUM".
Please see all the other att. pictures.

I can't give you any information on the actual machine, but the soundbox is a much later replacement. Polydor alum soundboxes were made in Germany in the early 1930s, the "alum" being a reference to the aluminium diaphragm.
The original soundbox for this machine would have had a mica diaphragm, which all horned machines had, with a few rare exceptions.

There is a "Trade Mark" sign on the front & there is "I.M Paris" on the sticker inside- see att. pictures.
Can it be a hint ?

The beading near the top of the cabinet does not look right - could it be covering up some little sin like an extra winder hole?
Here some pics from a later catalog. They probably did not manufacture everything they sold themselves as the catalog is vast. Other big music instrument purveyors like Thibouville & St Ettienne also only manufactured a limited band of items yet sold a full compliment.

Machine looks to have been remotored , the inside label shows clear filled in holes which suggests label is a later addition to hide these

On looking closer the label is OK but definite remotoring holes in it and also in the motor picture , so motor replaced at some time , and faked with the front Eufon mark and beading hiding other signs as previous post . Can you take the turntable off and post a picture of the top of the machine ?

Take the turntable off and post a picture of the gramophone top WITHOUT THE TURNTABLE
