I have a Victor record that's interesting.It's a few years later on the Gold Circular label from 1937.One side is "Pick The Winner",and the other side's Lionel Hampton's Orchestra playing "Ring Dem Bells".Has anyone ever seen that?edisonplayer

Yes, I have had several Lionel Hampton with Pick The Winner on the reverse, although it is a scarce title... There is also a Pick The Winner on a Victor record that has The Punter's Lament on the reverse... both hard to find, as are all puzzle records. I always wondered if the Lionel Hampton record might have been used for gambling in Harlem clubs or other speakeasys, as it looks unsuspecting when placed on a phonograph... then flipped for gambling.
