For your consideration is a very nice VV 8-35 with original grill cloth and reproduction spine albums in great working condition. It has not been refinished, just cleaned and waxed. There are a few small veneer chips along the edge of the top, but very small. The albums are Victor albums purchased from a forum member and have the reproduction spines (also from a forum member) attached. Excellent sounding stable pot metal reproducer. The grill cloth is slightly loose in one corner, but I have not tried to repair it as it is only slightly noticeable. If you would like any additional photos, please let me know. You can listen to the machine with the included reproducer by following the links below. I apologize in advance for the poor video quality and background noise, but you will hear the clear sounding reproducer at work.

I have heard this machine in person and can attest to its awesome sound! Incredible clarity! The metal horn really makes a difference over a wooden one (like on a Credenza).

I've updated the CL posting with more pics to better show condition/issues, and I have added information about possible delivery options.

Bump, still looking for interest before offering up to E-Pay. Please let me know if interest. The 8-35 is available by itself of with the albums, or the albums separately to fit your budget. There are NO missing hardware to the cabinet (i.e. escutcheons, pulls, knobs, hinges, etc. And is sounds phenomenal!

Matt, I'm surprised this hasn't already sold at that price! Looks great!

Also not sure why this isn't gone yet. I paid much more for mine 12 years ago (also spring motor, BTW, seems somewhat less common than electric).

How the H would I get it to New York reasonably? Lovely machine.

There are movers that specialize in fine antiques, blanket delivery and all, but that would increase the price by at least $300...Still reasonable in my book!

There has been some interest, but it is not yet sold. I am awaiting a quote from Craters and Freighters. I should have a crating quote soon, should anyone else be interested. Pak Mail in Memphis does not do crating, I tried them. With Fedex based here and having a huge hub, you would think that might help a little on the shipping via Fedex Freight, but it would need to be crated first.
