Help with Amberola 30 on/off switch

This is my first attempt on an Amberola so please bear with me. This is for an Amberola 30. There seems to be something missing on the underside of the motor plate back near where the governor is. The on/off switch just kind of hangs there. Could someone take a picture of what should be back there that holds the on/off switch in one position. Thanks!!

I haven't disassembled my 30 in some time; but as I recollect, the brake lever is simply screwed into the underside of the bedplate. If it's too loose, the screw may simply need tightening.

Exactly, Bill.
If I recall, it's a set screw, so you cannot over tighten it.
The screw is between the spring and the bed, so you'll need an angled screwdriver to do the job.
Here's a photo.

Here is a top and bottom view of mine. The screw that you highlighted is tight. On mine there is another screw just to the right of the brake lever. That is where I'm thinking a clip of some sort goes to hold the brake against the governor in the off position.
