I did not know that 1925 still counted as Victorian....

There was a time when these were going for $800 to $1000, but since the internets was invented they're not as hard to find. Prices have dropped into the few hundred or less range.

The highest I've ever seen one of these priced by a legitimate dealer was ~$2000 around 10 years ago. Sure not worth that today. Still, this seller is a delusional on the idea of $1500 for a 8-30x with no reproducer. At least it's not a Likker cabnit... yet!

Just a random thought, but this machine is a close cousin of my 8-30X. This one is serial 24429 and mine is 24810!
