Amberola V: Ever produced with 7-pillar wood grill?

Hello All:
George Frow's Edison Cylinder Companion book states on page 199 that the Amberola V wooden grill had six pillars, with some circa late 1914 being pressed metal.
My question is if 7-pillar wood grills are also correct, as I've owned or seen more of them in this configuration.
My oak Amberola V, which I'm certain has the original 6-pillar type, is much more finely-made grill, with thinner, more delicate pillars. The mahogany ones, which I believe to be old 7-pillar originals, are thicker in overall appearance.
This question came up again while I was at the recent Donley auction in July. Here again was a mahogany V with a 7-pillar grill, not looking like a reproduction.
Can anyone say with authority that wood 7-pillar grills were used on Amberola Vs? Thanks for your input!
