Should this Berliner Crank Be Restored..?.

I thought I would ask the membership their thoughts on if this Berliner Trade Mark crank should be re-plated or left as is..??.
I would appreciate your thoughts.

Unless the rest of the machine has great nickeling, I'd leave it "as is". If you have a plater that can give you something that looks like it has a bit of age, that might be an option. Jerry Blais

I would consider sanding it smooth and brush nickel plating it, which would leave it with a suitably antique appearance. I would not have it professionally plated as it would destroy any vintage character.

Alternatively, clean it up with 0000 steel wool and call it a day.
