Strange console in Arkansas

Anyone know what this is? I believe someone put a Victor tonearm in there. I recognize the grille, because there is one for sale on eBay currently.

This is an Adler-Royal. It was a pretty expensive machine, the company really went for those scenic grilles, in their radios too.
