EDIT: Just so there's no confusion driven by rabid excitement, all the ads I post in the eBay/CL Alert section of the forum are not mine. I will try and preface each ad with this disclaimer when I do another batch in about 4-7 days. There are also ads I do not post because I don't think they're a 'deal' (many overpriced Home's).
http://chico.craigslist.org/cbd/5741705545.htmlVery cool Antique Columbia Graphophone "The Dictaphone" type B transcribing machine with rare original stand. Missing drive belt, power cord, mouthpiece and tube, and foot switch cord. Foot switch is present. Would take effort to find parts and put it in working order but it is a wonderful conversation piece as is. Also has marked cardboard tube protecting the cylinder. Working with all parts I would value this at $300-$400. A rare find indeed. Beat the heat......Grab your fishing rod and spend the day in Chester, Lake Almanor.
