Has Anyone Seen This Before?

I am currently the high bidder on this and hopefully will win it for $80. I am probably paying too much at this point but I thought it was interesting and has the original box and instructions which I would think would be hard to find. Has anyone seen this particular device or one like it?

SonnyPhono,
I have seen various repeaters before, but I don't recall that particular one. It looks very interesting. If you win it please give us a report on its workings.
Regards,
John

I will do. The auction is running live right now. I have the highest absentee bid, so if nobody else there wants it for more than $80, I will win it and will give a rundown when I receive it. In the meantime, if anyone knows more about it, I would love to hear. (Year, how many produced, etc.)

Well, I won the Repeater as well as a Graphophone Type Q in great original shape all for $200. Not too bad I guess as I have never owned a type Q. It plays just fine so I guess that price isn't too bad. Plus, they are including 27 cylinders with it as well, so I did ok. I will post an update when I get them and have time to try it out.

SonnyPhono,
Congratulations on both wins! I'm looking forward to hearing about the repeater especially.

Yes, would like to hear more about the repeater also - that'd be worthy of a youtube video if possible.

Absolutely! It should be here tomorrow or Wednesday. I have quite a few youtube videos and will add the repeater when I receive it. I didn't realize but when talking with the auctioneer to arrange shipping, she said that she would make sure the cylinders are packed safely. I didn't even know that they came with the items I won. They all have the original boxes w/lids and are in great shape. 27 cylinder, the repeater and a complete original Graphophone Q for $220. Not too bad I suppose.
