Hello all

I know several of you are into music boxes too. I recently purchased a Symphonion box with 7-⅝ inch discs. The crank is from a Columbia machine, it is the short slotted crank. The original is slotted, with what seems to be about a 3" handle. The winding shaft is about ⅜" as I recall. I am searching for an original or repro of the correct crank, see pics. Any leads appreciated!
Thanks

John Robles

John,
I looked for this same crank for several years, then decided to make my own...

Actually, my crank is larger, since it goes to a 15" Symphonion machine... Is your crank pic from a machine you have access to for actual dimensions?
That crank would not be too dificult to make...
