High Price for Charles Edison Disc

I'd never heard of this disc before but am also surprised at the price it went for.

I love any record I haven't heard before but at that price I can hear a lot of things I haven't yet got.

I've actually got a copy of this disc, so was following the auction - had no idea it would sell for such a price. it's an odd recording by the way, the side with charles edison speaking about the ediphone... a little eerie as well, if you've got the speed right, it's almost as though the man is there talking to you.
