How do you like your Victrola? ... This one come's "Rare" with a side of albums :)
Looks like a nice original machine. Perhaps worth investing in, for the right person.

Correction to thread heading: serial no. is 2349, not 2325.

Certainly true. I know the market is soft for machines now so $500 is a little high at this time but average condition upright machines used to go for that a number of years ago. I don't recall seeing a 125 in person, so I'm not sure if it would peak my interest without touching it. However I've always had a liking for the 17 and 130.

Perhaps my Lopressor, Digoxin and Coumadin are acting up, but I could have sworn it had an opening bid of $350.00

What is the difference between a VV 125 and a VV 130? To me, at a glance, they look the same. I'm curious of the fine points between the two.

Harvey,
I've never had my hands on a 125, but I own a 130. The horn doors on my 130 appear smaller than the ones on this 125. The 130 has a small drawer instead of the gold used needle cup. Just initial observations.

The 130 was the XVII with the same escutcheons. The 125 had the simpler ones. That's as much as I know.

And yes, the price was increased. Originally 350.

Bad timing to jack the price. What with nearby Wayne just a few days away.
