WHAT BRACKET IS THIS

I found this back bracket and thought it went on a Victor until I saw the stencil design on it. Did this go on a Victor? Can anyone tell me what machine this would belong to? Thanks.

I had a Canadian Victor I with this same back bracket. It was completely original. I purchased it at a phonograph auction in the Rochester NY area in the early 1990's. Others may have differing opinions which I welcome but mine was definitely on a Canadian Victor I. Since I had several other Victor I's I traded it off to another collector a few years ago. Mine also had the Canadian Berliner tag beneath the Victor ID plate.

I like the "Von Dutch" type pin striping on the bracket... Maybe it even inspired Von Dutch!

For those that don't know, Von Dutch was a California West Coast famous Hot Rod pinstriper who pinstriped cars and other objects from the 1950's through the 1970's.

I have Canadian Berliner machines with the same stencil, so probably a Canadian Victor I from the Montreal Berliner Co.

It makes sense to me now. Since this is on a Canadian Victor III, with the Berliner tag.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, it's Canadian. If you look very closely at the tone arm you'll see that it's constructed completely different than the U.S. version, even though its outward appearance is the same.
