The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

Manuel Romain had a great voice, he's one of my favorite recording artists.
But I can't find any info on him. I know he was from Puerto Rico, lived in Boston and died there of cancer.
Have anyone info about his birth and death year and his life before and after recording?

Manuel Romain lived from 1870 to 1926. There is a brief biography of him in the on-line "Encyclopedia of Recorded Sound" by Frank Hoffmann and Howard Ferstler. I will send you additional information in a private message.
