Oak Edison Opera crank escutcheon question

I bought an oak Edison Opera and was given the crank escutcheon later, after the restoration. The problem is the screw holes don't line up with the holes in the case, which leads me to believe that the escutcheon is the wrong one. The screw holes in the case are 1 ½" apart, but are only 1 ¼" apart on my escutcheon. Obviously, it is the wrong part. Could someone who owns an oak Opera take a picture close up of the crank escutcheon area and post it here, so I know what it is supposed to look like? Thanks, Marc.

IIRC, There was a discussion here recently that the escutcheons for oak and mahogany Operas are different. Perhaps you wound up with the mahogany version instead of the oak version?

No, the mahogany version is a semi-circle. After talking to my restorer, I'm convinced that I just misplaced the correct escutcheon, and found another escutcheon that is not correct.
