Question about Dulcephone soundbox

I was the underbidder on a group of reproducers that was won by a Forum member. He was kind enough to sell me one of them. I was attracted to the Dulcephone soundbox even though it was incomplete. It lacks the rubber flange on the back, otherwise all there. I will complete rebuilding it this weekend. I plan to glue an Exhibition flange on the back and try the soundbox out on a Victor machine just to hear what it sound like. Still, I prefer to put things back in their original shape if possible. I understand the Dulcephone machines, although composed of Swiss parts, were sold in the UK. We can readily buy the Exhibition flange. Is the same true for the Dulcephone flange? Does anyone sell it in the UK or possibly on the Continent? Thanks.

I bought a Decca trench gramophone & an Exhibition rubber fit the Swiss soundbox perfectly.

My Dulcephone soundbox is a different one. It takes three screws to hold the flange in place. Could be wrong, but I don't think it came on a Decca portable--earlier than that. I think it was on a back-mount machine.

I'll take a photo of mine tomorrow, although others can be seen on the Internet.

I've done a bit more investigation of the Dulcephone soundbox, including what I've read on this Forum. The trench portables by Decca are quite interesting, and someone has loaded up on the Internet an extensive number of advertisements from WWI as Decca had targeted servicemen during the war. It also seems that these portables came with a soundbox similar to mine. However, there seems to be at least two variations. I've posted pictures of the backsides of both. Mine has the three screws to hold the flange.

I managed to attach an Exhibition flange to the back of my Dulcephone soundbox (see photo) and mounted the soundbox on a Vic !. It cam through loud and clear.
