Found this post card on Ebay. Is this the same company listed in R. J. Wakeman's article on "off brand" machines found on the APS website?

Listed in the article as : Cadillac – Clements Manufacturing Company, 601-613 Fulton Street, Chicago, Illinois. EM

But the card says, "Cadillac Phonograph Corp." Same city, different address. Any ideas?

Makes you wonder if any automobile manufacturers dabbled in the phonograph field---I had a plain console ---WPC and always wondered if it was a W.P. Chrysler product or someone trying to get rich using the automobile manufacturers initials?

I have a cylinder record cabinet that was told to me to be a Cadillac Record Cabinet...maybe that old antique dealer did know something....

You know, About that Meteor Automobile---I do have a Phonograph Company Flyer showing the model 90, 115, and 125 (Louis XV--very large console). Thanks for waking-up the brain cells

In the UK portables, usually HMV's, occasionally turn up with Rolls-Royce or Bentley badges inside their lids. The sellers would have you believe that these gramophones were ordered by the companies as accessories for their cars. THEY WERE NOT! They were made up in the 1980's from standard machines, but some people have been fooled.

I even made one up myself from an HMV 102 which had lost it's original lid transfer, to go with my 1956 Armstrong Siddeley, but I incorporated a deliberate mistake to prevent a future seller from passing it off as genuine :

I've seen Cadillac player pianos as well. They are usually early, 65 note or 65/88 note players with wood tracker bars.
