Does anyone know how to remove the turntable from a Garrard Junior please? There is a screw underneath it that needs tightening that I can't get at.

Remove the circlip from the spindle and then tap the turntable off by hitting the spindle` with a hammer whilst pushing the turntable up with your fingers
